This handout provides a log to document flare ups in your OCD. Over time, the log will help to identify triggers and the distorted thinking that fuels your anxiety. Example provided.
A 5-minute video on the neurobiology of addiction
- Reciprocal inhibition -
As discussed in How to cope with stress (above), your brain can't be sad and happy at the same time. Nor scared and laughing. The videos below were selected b/c they can trigger reciprocal inhibition. That is, the videos can help to turn off a stress response, at least for a few minutes.
